What is BSC Sound Styler actually?
You can use interchangeable screws to vary the
musical properties of the entire instrument to adapt to the sound of
different music styles.
Can't you believe that something like this is
possible?
Then you just have to try it out.
Saxophones and woodwind instruments are designed from old instruments, from master to apprentice. Later,
industry tried to adopt the same design, but simplified some complex details
because 3D processing was not possible in the past and is now possible, but
too slow and too expensive. Processing and materials are also thoughtlessly
simplified to achieve a perfect look.
So curiosity and research by instrument makers and musicians disappeared,
too complex and not profitable?
BSC Sound Styler should be an incentive, just
small changes to the design can adjust the overall sound character and
resonance power of instruments.
A special understanding of "sound around the
player" as opposed to "sound around the audience" is a very important
principle before setting individual equipments.
Soprano sax can be too peep in the living room, but very clear and touching
in the acoustics of the church. Baritone sax sounds dark and large in the
rehearsal room, but in the concert hall the audience cannot hear individual
notes at all and muffles the clarity of the ensemble.
Today everyone carries a smartphone with them. I
can only recommend recording and analyzing every rehearsal with your own
smartphone.
Recording is a mirror for musicians!
No actor appears in front of an audience without having looked at a mirror
beforehand.
Can't believe it?
Then you just have to try it.
